Do your smart glasses include a display or subtitle functionality?
Looktech AI Glasses do not have a HUD (heads-up display) or subtitle functionality. They include a high-definition (HD) 13MP camera for capturing high-res images and 2K videos, with all information provided through audio responses.
Can I get prescription lenses?
Yes, Looktech AI Glasses are compatible with prescription lenses. You can either order them with your prescription or take them to any optical shop to have lenses fitted.
How does the AI assistant work?
Memo, our AI assistant, is powered by advanced model GPT-4.1. You can activate it by simply saying "Hey Memo" or pressing the AI button on the left temple of the glasses. What makes this AI different is that it has memory and will learn from your routines, preferences, and past conversations to deliver tailored experiences.
Is there a companion app?
Yes, there is a companion app named Looktech to help you get the full potential out of your AI experience. After pairing the glasses with the app, you can manage images and photos, review AI chat, access meeting recordings and summaries, and use mini-apps. It's available on iOS and Android.
Do I have to pay for a membership to use Looktech AI Glasses?
No, you don’t. You can capture pictures/videos, take calls, listen to music and use AI features for free, including voice chat, recording transcription, and various AI mini-apps.
Free users will have daily limits on voice chat time, access to the advanced voice model (GPT-4.1), and transcription minutes. Once you reach the limit, Memo will automatically switch to the GPT-4.1 mini model.
Upgrading to a membership gives you: longer voice chat time, consistent access to GPT-4.1, more transcription minutes, priority response during peak hours and more voice styles and early access to new features.
Whether you upgrade is entirely up to you—we always provide the core features with free daily usage.
How do I charge the glasses?
Every pair of Looktech AI Glasses comes with a standard charging case. Simply place the glasses in the case to charge them, similar to charging Bluetooth earbuds with a case.
Can I replace the lenses at my local optical shop or by myself?
Yes, you can go to a local optician for additional lens choices that best fit your needs. Please note that replacing lenses yourself is not recommended, as it requires professional tools and expertise to ensure proper fitting and functionality.
